Welcome to Indie Hosting! By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service (TOS). Please read them carefully before using our platform.

Introduction

These Terms of Service govern the use of Indie Hosting’s Minecraft hosting services and related products. By creating an account, purchasing credits, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue using our services immediately.

Account Registration & Security
2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our services.

2.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and ensuring your login credentials remain confidential.

2.3 Multiple Accounts

Users may not create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions or abuse promotions.

Credit System & Payments
3.1 Purchasing Credits

Our services operate on a credit-based system, where users pre-purchase credits to manage their server usage.

3.2 Non-refundable Credits

All credit purchases are final and non-refundable, except in cases of billing errors.

3.3 Chargebacks & Disputes

Filing a chargeback or dispute against Indie Hosting without prior communication may result in account suspension.

Service Usage & Limitations
4.1 Fair Use

Excessive resource abuse may result in resource throttling.

4.2 Backups

Customers are responsible for their own backups unless a backup plan has been purchased.

4.3 Server Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. See our Service Level Agreement (SLA) for details.

Prohibited Activities

Users may not participate in the following:

5.1 Illegal & Harmful Content
  • Hosting or distributing: malware, viruses, illegal content, phishing websites, scam websites, or other any other fraudulent activities.
  • Use servers for doxxing, harassment, hate speech, or any other activities deemed harmful by Indie Hosting.
5.2 Server Abuse & Resource Exploitation
  • Running crypto mining, botnets, unauthorized tasks.
  • Abusing resources beyond fair use limits.
  • Exploiting server configurations to bypass pricing models.
5.3 Unauthorized Reselling
  • Selling or redistributing Indie Hosting services without approval.
  • Creating “sub-hosting” services using our platform.

Violating these policies may result in warnings, suspension, or termination without refund.

Server Modifications
6.1 Mod Support

Users may install mods, plugins, and custom configurations, but we do not guarantee full compatibility. Indie Hosting is not responsible for errors caused by third-party modifications.

6.2 Responsibility

Customers are responsible for managing their own configurations.

User Information
7.1 Data Privacy

Indie Hosting only collects user data that is necessary for service operation. We do not sell or share user data with third parties except for payment processing and fraud prevention. See our privacy policy for full details.

Termination & Suspension Policy
8.1 Account Suspension

Indie Hosting reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Violation of TOS or SLA.
  • Payment Fraud, chargebacks, or abuse.
  • Hosting illegal content or engaging in prohibited activities.
8.2 Voluntary Account Termination

Users may request account deleted via account page or support ticket. Unused credits are not refunded upon account deletion.

Refund & Dispute Policy
9.1 No Refunds

Credits are non-refundable except in the event of billing errors.

9.2 Service Credits for Downtime

If Indie Hosting fails to meet the 99.9% uptime guarantee, users may request credits (see SLA).

Affiliate & Referral Program
Indie Hosting May offer an affiliate program where users earn credits or commissions for referrals.
10.1 Affiliate Rules

Affiliates must not:

  • Use misleading promotions.
  • Engage in spam or deceptive marketing.
  • Share codes on coupon or deals websites.
  • Have any kind of bad standing within their respective communities.
Closing Information
11.1 Policy Updates

Indie Hosting reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use after the change constitutes acknowledgement of the updated terms.
